RE: New renderer discussion and troubleshooting
great work indeed!

that somehow reminds me of the old deus ex game where some fans of the series created an external renderer (direct 3d 10 renderer i think) in order to improve the graphic-quality of the game

would it be possible to use the enb-series for mxo?

RE: New renderer discussion and troubleshooting
not likely, as he makes one for each game
(it might work now, if you use new renderer, as then mxo doesn't use legacy buggy FFP features, but i plan on incorporating SSAO and other things into mine anyway, so there should be no need)
the deux ex stuff is different, they published the renderer API source and it was in a separate DLL they could recreate
i'd be able to fix the shading bugs ages ago if that was the case for mxo (mmos never release ANY source or modding tools, ever)

RE: New renderer discussion and troubleshooting
so you found a way to do this through reverse engineering?
that's even more impressive

looking forward to new implementations for the renderer

Yeah, I'll say. Very impressive. It looks the same as it did back on my old XP machine. Great work!

RE: New renderer discussion and troubleshooting
0.9.0.3 was pushed today.
Code:
Changes:
Fix MXO problem where Anti Aliasing is forced-off when windowed.
Add ATOC (Alpha to Coverage) support for much better looking trees and railings when AA is on.

MXO forces AA to 2x when you just check it under options, but if you edit options.cfg manually you can change AntiAliasFSOverSample to 8 or something, and get much nicer looking edges
