New Player How to download

Hello everyone I am new to the matrix online I thought it was shut down in 2009. But now I have found this thread and I want to play. I just wanted to know how do i download the game and get started playing. Also is this game still popular do people still play. But please tell me how to download this im hyped Big Grin

Also, to be clear: this is an EMU and its not "playable". There are no missions, no inventory, no PvP, no combat. In its current state there is nothing to do but run around the districts and listen to the music. Hardlines will work, as will doors and elevators. But thats about all. Also, dont expect to find anyone else on line. Most of us log in for a few minutes every so often to get the MxO fix, but rarely do people hang out.

This is no current date for anything else working. Yes, we've been in touch with both Rarebit and Sony/WB ect, and no one is going to help, or give us the old server code.
