Considering that 1,000 months is a little over 83 years, that's a bit long of a lifespan for a human, let alone a game server. Heck, the internet itself isn't 83 years old, come to that....

But where did you get this 1,000 months figure, might I ask? If a hosting service is charging $79 a month, then that should be $79 a month no matter how long the server lives, barring inflation.

Or is that taking into account the amount of time it would take to offset the financial cost of greasing Time Warner's palms with big, chunky money bags just to get the rights to the MxO engine in the first place?
